Lambert van Eijck

Job title
Assistant Professor, Faculty of Applied Sciences at TU Delft

Following a beam line scientist position at the Institute Laue Langevin in Grenoble, France, Lambert joined the Neutron and Positron Methods in Materials section in 2010 to design and realize the novel neutron powder diffractometer PEARL, based at the Reactor Institute Delft. His expertise is in the development and application of new neutron methods for science.

Lambert has a background in material science using neutron scattering and modelling and since recently he applies those to obtain unique, non-invasive, insight in precious 3-dimensional objects of cultural heritage.

In the current NWO/NICAS project the focus lies in the development of algorithms for the fusion of neutron tomographic data with gamma spectroscopy.
