Yeneneh Girma Terefe is a graduate student in historic preservation at the University of Florida. He was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and currently resides in the United States. His fascination for history and digital technology started at a young age.
Yeneneh is interested in digital documentation & preservation, and community empowerment through cultural heritage. He believes that heritage is crucial in fostering understanding, communication, and tolerance.
At the Centre for Global Heritage and Development, Yeneneh will research on existing business models for heritage organizations and funding schemes to write a recommendation for a new business model for the Centre.
