Summer School 2020: Museums and SDGs

Our Summer School 2020 on Museums and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals is finally open for registration! It will take place in Leiden and Rotterdam from Monday 24th to Thursday 27th of August 2020. The Summer School is a unique opportunity to gain insight into the revolution that is taking place in the museum world concerning sustainability and becoming future proof. There will be plenty of opportunity to meet and discuss  with experts. See our program through the link at the bottom of this text.

The fee is € 395 for students and scholars from the Universities of Rotterdam, Delft, and Leiden. For others it will be € 495. Payment will be required only after acceptation.

Included in the fee is the opening dinner, lunch for every day, coffee and tea in the museums, admission to the museums, and our closing reception with drinks and bites. Furthermore, it will cover bus transport to Rotterdam on Wednesday from Leiden and back.

As opposed to our earlier communications, we will only have room for 13 participants because of Corona measures. We ask potential participants to motivate their interest with a letter; the most important thing is that participants can demonstrate that the summer school is an important addition to their study / career. Please send your letter (and any questions) to r.de.boer@arch.leidenuniv.nl before 1 July.  After this date we will make a selection and will inform you within two days if your application has been accepted.
