I was born and raised in various cities of India. The diverse culture and history, classical music and the beautiful, majestic monuments and historic sites which I grew up seeing, instilled in me a love for the past and a sense of the importance of heritage. Museums have always been some of my favorite places on Earth, with a particular interest in sculptures and antiquities. After getting my Bachelor of Technology under-graduate degree in India, I decided to combine my interest in technology and computer sciences with my childhood love for archaeology, and am currently pursuing an MSc. in Digital Archaeology at Leiden University. I truly believe that science is the future of heritage management and archaeology. I have always been fascinated with ancient civilisations, such as the Indus Valley or Egypt, and have tried to teach myself as much as possible about their history and mythology. I have been a voracious reader for as long as I can remember - books are an essential part of my life.
