Dr. Azadeh Arjomand Kermani is a Postdoc in the chair Heritage&Values at TUDelft, formerly a researcher in the department of Urbanism. Her research interests concern the raise of understanding, and development of assessment frameworks, for the cultural significance of historic urban areas and buildings, and providing a basis for conservation. As member of the TUDelft team, led by Vincent Nadin, Azadeh contributed to the JPI-Cultural Heritage projects “SHUC - A Sustainable Future for the Historic Urban Core”, and “PICH - The impact of urban planning and governance reform on the historic built environment and intangible cultural heritage”. She is co-supervisor of master and PhD students, conducting research and lecturing in several courses in the field of Heritage Planning, Landscape-based approaches, Spirit of Place / Place-making / Genius Loci.
